Information for prospective partner agencies abroad

In order to improve our services we are steadily looking for new partners to establish a long term cooperation. We appreciate applications from countries all over the world.

We are a member of Member of IAPA (International Au Pair Association). We are Member of the German Au-pair Society e.V. which is the umbrella organization of German au-pair agencies, au-pairs and guest families.

We send au-pairs from Germany to other countries and match foreign au-pairs with German host families all over Germany. The office is located at Mannheim, near Heidelberg, 70 km south of Frankfurt. We have guest families in the entire area of Germany.

After the au-pay stay here in Germany, we offer two chances for your applicants being au-pair in another country: We have a partner agency in Austria, what enables the au-pairs to stay one more year in a German speaking country. Dr. Uwe Krenz is also chairman of the non profit association "Go-America e.V." which places au-pairs in the United States of America (www.go-america.org) together with our US partner. If the au-pairs fulfil the requirements, they can be placed directly after the German au-pair stay in the United States (pocket money 560 $ US/month; free classes at college (for 500 $); return flight from Germany only 100 US$.

The following documents are suggested to be required unless you would like to use your own ones.

1. Au-pair Application Form (3 pages)
   
2. 3 Photos: one passport and at least two with child(ren)
   
3. Dear Family Letter (typed and not tabulated): about your curriculum vitae; family, school education; professional training, jobs, hobbies, motivation to be an au-pair; childcare experience (1-2 pages of DINA 4)
   
4. 2 References (at least one of them on your childcare experience)
   
5. Medical Certificate (PDF-File, could be sent later); it may not be older than 3 months at the time of your arrival in Germany and has to include a check on HIV; Tuberculosis; and for applicants from Africa also on Hepatitis B and C
   
6. Copy of your Passport.
